I’m a sucker for barn conversions I’d love to live in one someday. In the meantime I was more than thrilled when I found out that Assifati and David are getting married in one – Dodford Manor.
It was stunning day, with stunning couple and their fantastic family and friends.
Oh, and we had the perfect sunset too

We were extremely meticulous in choosing a photographer because we wanted someone that could capture the day and leave us with beautiful memories, we did not really have a video of the wedding so the pictures meant a lot to us. We have gone through Brightside Photography before as a Birthday present and felt that they would be perfect for our wedding day. Aneta and Piotr have this artistic approach, appreciation for photography and most importantly an eye for capturing emotion… oh and not to mention they love what they do! Our experience with this wonderful pair has been unmatched; working with them was an absolute pleasure.
During our engagement session, we had a lot of fun, we had the wrong shoes on but they made it work and hardly anyone commented about the uncoordinated shoes. All people could comment on was our smiles and how happy we were. My main worry as a bride on the wedding day was the weather (very unpredictable British weather) but I knew not to worry much because Aneta and Piotr were prepared for a backup plan in the event the weather did not cooperate. They even had a blanket, a whole lot of toys and equipment; that is how prepared they were!!! At any point if I had a question or comment they were never more than a Facebook message/email away and were always very prompt and professional about answering.
For the wedding they took a plethora of photos, which included not only the wedding party but lots of photos of the guests as well (allowing us the opportunity to really see how everyone enjoyed the day). Also the idea of a photo booth was great and a lot of fun. We received the photos via their own “dropbox”, password protected portal through their website, and a thumb drive. At the end of the wedding experience, what’s left is the photos… for us that was the single most important piece to the wedding and we are so glad we were able to work with them, we would recommend Brightside Photography time and time again.
They captured the detail, the action and gentle, natural photos of my husband and I, family and guests – the mix is of reportage images and some classics is one that we will enjoy for a lifetime. They were as invisible as possible but at hand whenever needed (they were with us the whole day).
